Adoption Petition signed and sent to judge-Check! :)

So we have officially started the adoption preceedings. The first order of business was to find a lawyer, give them some money, and get a petition for adoption to the judge! We have accomplished that. Our next order of business is to get the DHR system to do their job and to schedule and complete a pre placement investigation(their version of a homestudy). I am supposed to get a call from the man tomorrow to set it up! Praying all goes well and I can say check to that and inform on what the next step in our journey is. Until then!
